O'Brien's staff listens to ALL demos dropped off. We have a general "everyone deserves time" policy, and no matter what the package looks like we're interested to hear what you're creating. Here's some tips that help you get to the top of the pile:

+ Include a one-sheet: What bands have you played with, label info, press info, general highlights
+ Include the best quality recording you have. Don't apologize for lo-fi, just let it be what it is.
+ Include ALL contact info, email, AIM, phone, 3rd party websites (Pure Volume, MySpace etc).
+ If you do not have a website, try to include a photo and other related media.

+ Formats: CD / CD-R / DVD / VHS / 12" / 7" (no 1" Spazz records please)

Our sister venue, Great Scott, is right down the street. If we can't help at a certain time, try them. Bands who do well with O'Brien's are often asked to come over to GS at some point.
We're trying to make the venues work together so no bands get overlooked.
